The requirement for international arrivals to take a COVID test within 24 hours of arriving in Singapore will be scrapped from 1 April.

But passengers must still be double jabbed in order to enter the country and will be required to present a negative test taken 24 before departing for Singapore.

Under a series of changes announced yesterday, authorities in Singapore said short term arrivals will no longer need to apply for a Vaccinated Travel Pass (VTP).

The need to fly to Singapore on dedicated flights under the Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL) system has also been abolished while the limit on the number of daily arrivals will be lifted.

The Government said it will continue to monitor the COVID situation and would reimpose restrictions if needed.
